Feeling Stuck, Stressed, or Pulled in Every Direction?
Life can feel like a constant battle with control, pride, fear, and compromise. At work, at home, in friendships β we all wrestle with people who want things done their way, systems that push us around, and the pressure to measure up. Maybe youβre tired of conflict, frustrated with the ways the world seems stacked against you, or weary from trying to keep everything together.
If that hits close to home, youβre not alone β and thereβs a story that meets us right where we are.
Starting March 15th, weβre kicking off Easter with βThe Villains.β Weβll explore the high-stakes drama that led Jesus to the cross β a story full of tension, power struggles, and people being forced to face the truth. The Romans ruled with force and expected obedience. The Pharisees were all about rules, reputation, and looking βright.β The Sadducees went with the flow, following whatever was popular. The Herodians mixed politics and personal gain. Each of these groups acted out of fear, pride, or control β and the one thing they all agreed on? Jesus had to go.
Sound familiar? That story isnβt just history. Itβs about us. The same patterns repeat in our workplaces, relationships, and communities. Pride, fear, compromise, and the desire to control β these forces show up in our lives every day.
Easter Sunday, weβll celebrate βThe Heroβ Through the cross and resurrection, what looked like defeat became the greatest victory in history. God steps into our struggles, offers forgiveness, and invites us into a life rooted in Him β showing that even in the hardest circumstances, hope and new life are possible.
